Journey Into a New Horizon

It's a new year, and a good time to look at how you plan to spend it. For myself, I am reevaluating my business plan, and looking at my future life goals. That may not be a bad thing for you to consider as well.

Here are some good questions to ask yourself:
  • Why am I doing what I am doing? Is there a goal in mind?
  • Where do I see myself in 5 to 7 years from now? In the same place, doing the same thing? Why or why not?
  • What is the one thing I would rather be doing if money and time was not an obstacle?
  • What would it take to do it now?
  • What is that one thing in life that I need to accomplish to bring my life a sense of meaning and purpose?
Think about these things for your business. Think about these for your family. Think about these for yourself.

    Kerry,

I have also taken these considerations in starting the new year out by breaking paradigms, and reviving my desire to become an independent designer. Presently, I freelance and work with an in-house team.

The break out of questions to ask yourself is a great start to the execution of mindful self assessment.

Thanks for sharing this insight and the snap-shot of your thinking process. If you wouldn't mind, I am adding you to my blog roll.

    Best wishes!
