It's a new year, and a good time to look at how you plan to spend it. For myself, I am reevaluating my business plan, and looking at my future life goals. That may not be a bad thing for you to consider as well.
Here are some good questions to ask yourself:
- Why am I doing what I am doing? Is there a goal in mind?
- Where do I see myself in 5 to 7 years from now? In the same place, doing the same thing? Why or why not?
- What is the one thing I would rather be doing if money and time was not an obstacle?
- What would it take to do it now?
- What is that one thing in life that I need to accomplish to bring my life a sense of meaning and purpose?
Kerry,
ReplyDeleteI have also taken these considerations in starting the new year out by breaking paradigms, and reviving my desire to become an independent designer. Presently, I freelance and work with an in-house team.
The break out of questions to ask yourself is a great start to the execution of mindful self assessment.
Thanks for sharing this insight and the snap-shot of your thinking process. If you wouldn't mind, I am adding you to my blog roll.
Best wishes!
I appreciate your comments. Thanks.
