A good client:
- educates herself about the design process
- considers her audience's needs; and if doesn't know them, seeks help from the designer
- doesn't try to design or art direct the designer, but offers good business insight into the problem
- has spent time understanding her needs and goals before coming to the designer
- happily answers a designer's questions because she knows that the designer is thinking, and with good information, will produce a successful design
- sees designers as partners in her business success, not production workers
- has a budget or an idea of how much she wants to spend to produce a design(s)
- is flexible to new ways of thinking
- pays promptly.
